I'm trying to lead a less wasteful and environmentally friendly lifestyle and when I ran out of regular disposable cotton cartridges I started buying reusable replacement cartridges. The options on Revain (and the web in general) are huge. Organic? Cotton? Bamboo? Two tons? Funny patterns? I finally chose this brand because of the good reviews and everything related to planting trees. However, there are several problems with this product. The biggest problem is that they are made of microfiber which is actually plastic NOT organic fibers! There is also some research that microfibers release microplastics into the water when washed. All these details completely refute all my intentions to buy reusable cartridges. Second, because they are microfiber, they don't dry well. The included bag for clothes is too small to wash and dry effectively. I have to let them air dry during the day before they dry. Not ideal!
