Used as one of several treatments for a terrible Oodinium outbreak in a marine aquarium. Although I eventually had to switch to copper due to the rapid development of the epidemic, I believe herbtana saved my Queen Angel and Black Cap Basslet. It seems to take four to five days for the Herbtana to become effective in preventing the attachment of Oodinium cysts, but I have seen very clear evidence that the product actually works by measuring the effects of the parasite on fish with Herbtana in their system have compared. Systems and those that didn't. Fish treated too late with Herbtana did not survive. Those in the tank treated with Herbtana survived.
