I bought this center channel to add to my 2.0 setup (a pair of Polk Monitor 50s). From a design perspective, the RM8 is solid. It feels heavy for its size and the glossy finish is very nice (it matches the finish on my TV's bezel). Setup was easy. The sound quality is excellent. While audio can be a little quiet, it's crisp and clear - free from interference and distortion. For a more powerful sound I would have gone for one of the Polk CS Series center speakers, but unfortunately I just didn't have room for them on my entertainment device and I don't think a friend would have agreed. This little speaker goes great with the rest of my gear. My girlfriend probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't told her! This speaker is a great buy at a great price. If you have space, get one of the CS centers, but if not, you can't go wrong with this one.
