This is an excellent way to remember the birthday's of those we love. Assembling was slightly awkward due to the tiny rings and holes, but doable. I tried using colored sharpies but they bled on the wood. The wood is too porous. You have to use a pen. Colored ink works well but not as pretty as a colored sharpie would.
