Comfortable good pants and chaps

I bought these pants as work pants mainly because of the soft knees. I put up a metal roof thinking it was just bees on their knees. They weren't. The legs were so long that the balls of the feet were below the knees. Attached them and tried to use them but they were really slick which made them unusable for my purpose. They're pretty comfortable, although the style is a bit, ah, there.
