They are about the size of a credit card, strong enough, the tip feels nice too. So far I haven't had any problems using them with the Canon 5D or Nikon D200 which I've been using lately. It's so easy to put them in a quick shot of whatever scene you want to capture. After you've done this once, shoot as normal, unless you switch to different lighting where you need to take another quick shot somewhere in the frame. I usually shoot with a white card and then a gray card. Of course you can only take one shot with all three cards shown, this way you have the whitest whites, the blackest blacks and the neutral colors at once. custom white balance. Choose the selection tool and click anywhere on the white and gray card. Copy the setting for each photo for that lighting and you're done.
