We use these for jelly containers - make a few batches earlier in the week and there are always small serving cups waiting in the fridge, much cheaper than buying ready-made mugs in the store. Perfect small portions in half a glass. They stack well and are a treat to eat. The lids *DO NOT CLOSE*. Never put anything in it that might get dirty if it spills, and don't accidentally throw it in your lunch bag. It will flow everywhere and there will be a great mess. If you microwave something oily, *they will bubble and become unsanitary*. In my opinion this is a good range of Rubbermaid products for very specific needs. However, for general purpose product storage and transportation, I would definitely look elsewhere. Make sure you know what you're getting when you enter.
