I wanted a solution to keep the DC plugs in my Suburban's working DC outlet. My focus was that this unit can turn the DC ports on and off individually, so I don't have to remove the DC adapter from the DC ports as advertised. I must have missed the part about the dual DC adapter always powering the voltage indicator LED. If my Suburban sits for a week, the voltmeter will start blinking because it's below 12v. I want the adapter not to consume power when not in use. Yes, it's only a small puff from the car battery when the car is off, but still a puff. For that reason alone I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise it works.
