An excellent tool for learning the alphabet

I bought this for my little one because we don't spend time in front of a screen in our house - we don't have a TV (well with cable, we have one for watching movies and such), she doesn't have a tablet or phone or anything other has/used. So I needed something that would grab her attention and help her learn at the same time, which is car rides and things like that. But I've found that the best way to use this is to sit down and talk to her about it. She seems to learn a lot more when I do this. For example, I say "Can you find the letter E?" and "Nice job!" when she finds the right one. She's much more interested in it with the added interaction with me. So if you want it primarily for study, this seems (to me at least) the best way to get the most out of it. But yeah, she's about halfway through the alphabet and she's only 2 1/2, so I love this thing! And it works great after a few months of use. There are no performance issues at all. I really wish they had tweaked the "email" function a bit, although they can't type more than one word due to lack of space. But I can't even call it a complaint, he does whatever he needs to do. And the baby didn't get bored even after a few months, so I'd call it an extra win.

Pros
  • Learning & Education
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
