In fact, my choice fell on this model because of the minimalistic but pleasant design and functionality, while not the worst autonomy. However, later I found out some important details. And before buying (especially (!) for people who want to seriously track physical activity), in my opinion, they should read the article Samsung Galaxy Watch Active - Sport & Fitness In-Depth Review by DC RAINMAKER. The author offers a very detailed review of this watch and its functionality, and perhaps I can’t add anything better. What I think are the most important takeaways from it: 1) When paired with an iPhone from the standard Samsung Health, data export from the phone is not possible (at least for now, and this has been going on for several years); 2) The optical heart rate sensor is far from perfect; 3) Samsung Health on the watch ates the heart rate data once a minute (unlike most - once a second). You can use third-party apps for this, like Strava and Endomondo, but due to point 2, this data may not be accurate at all. As a result, it turned out to be a fairly ordinary product, with its own chips and shortcomings. Based on my experience, I would most likely recommend either a regular fitness bracelet, which will cost 3-4+ times cheaper, or more advanced versions of smart / fitness watches from other manufacturers.
