I picked this up to use with my computer. I have a couple of bookshelf speakers on my desk that I use as studio monitors. I used a 3.5mm to RCA adapter to connect it to my laptop. The sound isn't great, but it's good for the price. I had to tweak it a bit, but it has a range of ups and downs. I think it was more my speakers than the amp. I have the volume at about 75% and after that I just adjust it from my computer. I tried using the command strips and it got loose. I didn't get hot or anything, I just think they don't hold the best. Instead, you can try Velcro command strips if you don't want to screw them in. The only thing that bothers me is the front light. I keep forgetting to turn it off at night so it glows under my desk and can be seen when the room is dark. I'm not deducting points because it clearly mentions the lights, it's just annoying that you can't turn off the lights separately. Otherwise it's great and I'm happy with my purchase.
