Just packed my SECOND Rowenta Steam Force iron to return. I took this one because I sent the first one back for an exchange. Both had the same defect - after about 3 weeks the steam button broke. It has fallen and will not rise again, the internal mechanism must be defective. The first one I returned also spilled water when I pet it. I've tried various things to see if I can work around this issue. without filling it to the fill line, without moving the iron too quickly if this causes water to spill out. nothing mattered, the water ran all over the clothes I was ironing. I previously had a Rowenta, unfortunately I bought this model and it worked great for about 2 years before it started to smell horribly when heated, like burning/melting wires or plastic. I was hoping to stick with Rowenta because I liked this model, but I'm moving on to something else. For the money I pay for these irons, TWO of them shouldn't stop working in less than a month of use, maybe once a week.
