This is a quality product but not quite what I expected. I wanted a gate that I could easily remove and take to my mom's house when she babysat. However, the poles that reach the wall are not fixed to the gate. So if I disassemble and remove it I have about 6 pieces that I don't need to lose. Not ideal for traveling. But it's a good solid gate and it does what I'm supposed to do around my house so I'll leave it and find another, maybe cheaper, one to keep with my mum. I like that the gates can be opened in all directions. With practice, I can open it with one hand, but it's not as easy as some of the other models I've tested. There is no automatic closing function.
