Update: MacOS is up to date and working

[UPDATE 11/19/2020] MacOS updated to 10.15.7 (I need to keep the version on this computer for testing purposes) and it just started working. No ghost display. Both displays are controlled via DisplayPort connections and everything works smoothly in the display settings like saving screen position etc. I've also started using Sidecar to extend my screen to my iPad. still works.[ORIGINAL REVIEW]What don't I like? It doesn't do what I need. feeding two ViewSonic (VX2757) displays from my 2018 Macbook Pro. Everyone seems different and my MBP supports Thunderbolt3, but no matter how I connect it I can only disconnect one monitor from the adapter. And it worries my MBP. Even with only one plugged in, it shows a "ghost" display that my Mac thinks is real. I have to login to map the location and mirror the "ghost" monitor to the real one so I don't keep losing my cursor to the side. Until I find my old HDMI adapters I'll stick with it.

Pros
  • Add 2 DisplayPort displays up to 4K @ 60Hz on an Apple Mac with Thunderbolt 3 (MacBook Pro Late 2016/2017 and iMac 2017) at full GPU power
Cons
  • Nothing really for me everything is fine
