Basically I got the whole set for the butterfly earrings, the bar that goes through my ear is too short. It's up to me and I barely have enough room to run a cotton swab under the screw on the ball to clean it, but I can still slide the cotton swab under the ball. I take it off 2-3 times a week to clean the piercing better, I'm afraid that it will catch fire because maybe the cotton swab can't clean some areas well enough. Anyway, it's so cute and the material is good! I had no problems with the material. I noticed that the whorls are a lot thicker than other piercings and a lot bigger, I'm a bit frustrated, I liked it. Haven't tried any other piercing, I've only had a butterfly piercing for a month and haven't had any problems with it at all. I will try on the heart but as soon as I get tired of what I have now lol.
