This bag is nicer and more durable than I thought it would be. When I received it in ocean blue I was very pleased. The whole canvas is very durable, a touch of a prickly side, and has some weight. Not a light bag. It feels like it takes many days to use school or work supplies back and forth for a few years. Given the size and build, it's probably great for carrying essentials (computer, tablet, phone, pens, a few books) or essentials in a car bag (napkins, change of clothes, random things we keep in when someone is needed to carry something) etc.). This is an open style, with no zippers or clasps at the main large opening of the bag. Inside there are various smaller compartments (open pockets) and a medium sized zipped pocket along the outside. The transition from the standard canvas to the dark blue canvas is smooth, and the color is saturated. All handles seem firmly sewn and riveted. The yellow color on the handles is also bright and saturated. The zippers and clips feel metallic and strong. I would most likely use two carry handles, but the strap allows the bag to land naturally under your arm when carried. I will most likely just use the handles and remove the shoulder strap. But I am. Overall I really like this bag.
