Not suitable for full-time work from home

If you currently work from home full-time, spend the extra $ on a more comfortable chair. The back support is decent, but the seat cushion isn't designed for long hours of use. I've had it for a month now and am looking for a replacement because the seat padding is disappearing at the end of the day. I work over 8 hours a day so if this is a chair that will keep you going for hours and days. I do not understand! I can feel the flat wood/underside of the seat after sitting down, so the cousin/padding is not firm/supportive padding for me to sit on during normal + work hours/days.
