Review on DII Paris Kitchen Textiles Apron by Michelle Miller

These large tea towels are very cute. There are 2 towels with horizontal stripes and 2 with small dots. All towels have a little fringe at the bottom which is nice because it gives a retro feel. Each towel has its own patch which is a combination of die-cut material with embroidery. Here are the details of the towels: 1) The gray striped towel has an oval patch with a red border depicting the Eiffel Tower, a bicycle with flowers in a basket on the handlebars, and 3 hearts going up. The wording says Paris is always a good idea, although it's hard to read except for the word "Paris". Below is a green border in the shape of a sphere. 2) A different colored striped towel (dark gray, red, blue, pink, light gray, peach and light green) has a rectangular patch with a yellow border and a stack of multicolored macaroni cookies with small hearts going up. The inscription reads: BOULENGERIE at the top and one more word I just can't read. Below, under the biscuit, it says frais. The underside is trimmed with a pink border. It's really cute and colorful, although the patch is applied at a slight angle because the stripes show it's not even. 3) This towel is orange red with small white dots. The inscription Tchin Tchin! There are several hearts in it. This particular kit patch that I received has loose threads hanging from the front of the patch. At the bottom there is a blue border in the form of a sphere. 4) This towel is light blue with small white dots. Two dogs are painted on a square patch with a red border. The words say Oui Oui! The hearts on this patch are really tiny. Below is a dark red border in the form of a ball. Each of these towels has a short strap in a top corner for hanging. My rating is 4 stars for cuteness, whatever they are, I was a bit taken aback by the sloppy loose threads on one patch and the other was a bit off. Nonetheless, these towels are useful and, to the casual observer, quite pretty.
