I changed my wife's timing belt about 45,000 miles ago and forgot to check it for stretch. It was necessary, but I didn't have tools to use it in a confined space. When I changed it I had this huge engine mount from the engine bay. For my specific need (with a mount) I had to countersink a hex pan head screw and grind part of the head to reduce the thickness of the tool. After I did that, everything was perfect. It took about five minutes to adjust the clamp and about ten minutes to change the tool. This spinning head is a real lifesaver. Allows tensioner to be held while tightening nut. Great tool and arrived two days early.
