Our little son got these pants for my husband to have matching banana pants. My husband wears 30x32 jeans so I bought him a pair of medium pants. They were surprisingly large for a medium. Luckily the waist has very good elastic so they stay on but the legs are quite wide and he says two will fit on the waist. The fabric isn't very soft either. I find the price a bit high considering the quality. Paid $18. I probably wouldn't buy them again unless they were $10 or less.
