This product works properly and can read XQD and CFExpress cards, but CFExpress cards do not remove the CFExpress card. This means I have to shut down my computer before I can safely remove the CFExpress card. For XQD cards, you can remove the XQD card. The first image is for a CFExpress card where the Extract option is NOT available. The second image is for an XQD card that has an option to extract. The third picture is the write and read speed test I did. Updated 03/13/2021. The product itself works but does NOT have an eject option option to come out like a normal XQD card option, but the manufacturer sent me an MP4. Video that even the Sony XQD card reader behaves exactly the same. I have uploaded a video that the manufacturer/vendor sent me on the correct procedure to remove the CFExpress card on their device. For this reason I'm changing my ratings to 4 stars, 1 star less than 5, as the device generates some heat after plugging it into my USB 3 port, but the heat is NOT as hot as other users describe.
