This is not a gem that will last for many years and it is not designed for frugal owners to repair over time. First, and perhaps most importantly, the wiring for the light is in series, not parallel. This means that if one bulb burns out in the circuit or fails in the cartridge, all bulbs after that bulb will not light up. Secondly, some light bulbs are extremely difficult to maintain yourself because they are in the small internal spaces of the leg decoration. So this actually means that you will be using this decoration for a long time, because as soon as a light goes out, the light bulbs on the legs go out, good luck replacing them. I think if the manufacturer will solve these problems, replacing the lighting with LED lamps. and/or parallel wiring, this would make a great, long lasting decoration to enjoy for many Christmases to come.
