The ink in these blocks was liquid and the plastic packaging was oily. I had to keep them all in plastic bags so they wouldn't spoil everywhere. After using them on my project I wasn't even sure if the ink would dry. And so it happened, but it took some time. I see them as "buy and throw away" items rather than staples in my art drawer.
