Review on Razer Opus: Premium Wireless ANC Gaming Headset with THX Certification in Sleek Black Design by Christina Luhrs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty terrible overall, would not recommend for music lovers on a budget

Package received, opened, hung up, listened to half of the composition, money refunded - much lower than expected! Sound quality: OK. Some people have commented that the bass is weak, but the balanced sound was perfect for me as I've been using balanced headphones (SoundMagic E50S and Sennheiser HD280 pro) on a daily basis. However, I think these two are much better quality, albeit for less than half the price, despite both being wired. Comfort: The shells are very soft as per the reviews, but the headphones feel very heavy and I don't know if that's why the clamp is very strong, but it slips off my head if I do less than average head movement. Useless. Finally hiss/white noise. Lots of complaints about it online that I was aware of but didn't expect it to be that bad. Some people say they don't notice it at higher volumes, but it's noticeable at any volume, making the experience appalling. This was my third attempt at buying wireless headphones and in-ears, but I might as well just give up and buy a higher price. I don't think I've ever turned down a $100 product in less than 3 minutes!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity
