Order one size larger.
My 9 year old wears a size 4. We bought him a size 5 (for big kids) which fits perfectly. My 7 year old wears a size 13, we took her size 1 for tall kids and she fits great. I really wasn't sure if I should go up or down based on the reviews. I strongly recommend going up a size. These shoes are amazing. Super affordable, stylish and my kids love them for wrestling.
