Bought on 10/04/2022. HGST 7k6000 6tb HUS726060ALE614. I needed an hdd for a large number of games to send to distant places, where there is practically no Internet. Searched for VD, found HGST. I don't know how to explain it yet, but after two days of active use of this disc, I'm not ready to declare in unison with other buyers that it is loud. Maybe it somehow varies from instance to instance. But such silence (already a little frightening even) I have not heard from the HDD since 1990. Compared to my 14tb ultrastar, it's just heaven and earth. The Ultrastar rumbles like a V-E Day fireworks, and this disc barely buzzes sometimes. To hear him, I removed the lid from the case and put my ear to his basket. Only then I was able to take it apart, w-w-w. I was also afraid that many new games would take an awfully long time to launch from the HDD. I was pleasantly surprised that the speed of work is adequate. Not an SSD, of course, but it never pissed me off. It is direct though for the future of these hards type. God forbid only that he does not die in the near future, but lives like a human being. ZY The disk in the vented basket has fans on both sides, so I can't say anything bad about the temperatures.
