This base mascara is AWESOME! I love all Lancôme products, the top shelf just the counter I go to but like all expensive beauty companies the prices are so high. However, after becoming addicted to the base I decided to try cheaper brands thinking it was just a base not a color. I was wrong. The cheaper ones live up to the saying "you get what you pay for". The Lancôme brush itself is superior to anything I've tried and the stylus is hard, others and let me be clear other expensive brands as well as drugstore brands, the stylus is hardest which makes it easier to use. This takes some time as the application is only valid once. Ever since I started using it, people don't believe me when I answer NO to the question, do you wear false eyelashes? By the way, I also tried the fads that were popular 2 years ago with two whistles. One is the base and the second is some black flaky substances that are said to make your lashes thick, full and long. yes waste All night long there will be scales around your eyes, not to mention how laborious this process is. I went back to Lancôme eyelash primer. Okay I don't usually have time to do this so this is a very sincere review.
