Review on Shacke Luggage Genuine Leather Strap by Nicole Cook

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good but BIG downside - only use with minor modifications

They are very good but with one big downside. The clear lid and paper insert easily slide out of the hole in the holder when bent, making them too easy to lose. After an 8 hour flight and transfer to a cruise ship, one tag remained intact, the other stayed on the handle but the card and plastic were gone. If a card with up-to-date information appears during transport, it makes no sense! I suppose I can write on the plastic label myself or use a sticker so that if the plastic cover comes off again the information will still be there but still provide privacy/security while being 'covered up'. It would be ideal if both the card and the plastic had a slot that the leather strap (rather than just the plastic part of the tag) goes through. That way, even if it pops out, it stays attached to the actual label. instead of falling, the devil knows where, that's no use. Otherwise I think the card should fit much better or be taped information side up, although that defeats the purpose of privacy. The plastic tag itself is strong and slightly flexible. They have beautiful colors and are very different. It stands out well when you need to quickly find your luggage on the carousel. The leather strap is also durable and cannot be pulled or broken.
