I bought this as a temporary solution until I could get some original parts but I had some problems. Caution! Check the belt length! The strap I received was too short for my Whirlpool gas dryer (WGD4900). After installing this belt, I saw that the idler pulley was stretched all the way back and hitting the motor pulley (they shouldn't be touching). I've serviced my dryer with Whirlpool parts in the past, so I'm not inexperienced and don't feel like I made a mistake with the installation. I compared this belt to the Whirlpool belt and it is about 2 inches shorter. Another issue I had with this belt was that the grooves were almost non-existent compared to the original parts. I will return them.
