Review on πŸ“» Sangean RCR-24: AM/FM-Stereo Digital Tuning Radio with Extra Large LCD Display & Aux-in by Duane Barker

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It looked like the perfect digital clock radio

waited months for it to come out to replace the faithful 25 year old Sony Dream Machine that eventually died. It looked like the perfect digital clock radio. Great display, digital tuning, clean looks and quality. However, it unfortunately disappointed in performance. The sound is flat, despite having two 2 1/2" speakers, without much bass. It can best be described as tinny, with the need for an internal baffle and possibly a bass port. The snooze button is very difficult to hit. So that it works press the back half of the panel Clicking on the front or face side gives you no results Not very good in a dark room Breaking the rules is the many steps in alarm programming Only seven It is ok but if you turn off the alarm for the weekend you have to press seven buttons to cycle through the same seven screens to turn the same alarm back on.Too bulky for something as simple as an alarm clock. It had a lot of potential though I will come back.
