My dogs are avid hikers and need to wear boots because of the rugged mountainous terrain. These boots have withstood a lot of wear and tear and are holding up well (except one of them came loose when ran over a thick brush). We live in a hot climate, but ankle boots also breathe well. The tab at the top makes it easy to put on. Uncomfortable fit on day one but only took a walk to break in. Double straps ensure the booties stay in place and don't twist. I've tried many boots and these are the best I've had, especially for the price. Would definitely order them again.
