Aesthetically pleasing and well designed 100% stainless steel peeler

The stainless steel Aniso peeler is an excellent peeler. Made from 100% stainless steel and looks beautiful without the packaging. It has a 1 1/2" blade with a built in cap that snaps on and off. Blade handle is tapered. The blade itself is very sharp and is great for peeling anything from apples to potatoes. The blade isn't that wide like some, but for me at least that makes them a bit more versatile. Wider blades clear flat surfaces faster but make small turns more difficult. The integrated lid is a nice touch that snaps in place to protect you from accidental cuts from sharp blades. It stays in the open position while you're peeling fruit or veg.I was concerned that because it sticks out at an angle it might interfere with cleaning if you had to brush at a lower angle, but that didn't seem like a problem to me There's no locking mechanism for the off position, but it's held in place by friction, so if it loosens over time it can bother who n it jumps up and down when peeling, but that's no problem at all now either. There is a notch on the back of the blade guard that can be used as a hanging point when the blade is in the closed position - a thoughtful touch. As a bonus, the tapered handle works well as a shovel. This can be used to take out the inside of a pumpkin, cantaloupe, or honeydew melon. It can also be used to remove the outer fleshy parts of a grapefruit or grapefruit. This actually works very well. It should be noted that the promotional video for Revain shows them digging up the inside of a durian. I'm pretty sure it will work fine for this purpose, but I want to warn you that the inside of durian is pretty sticky and that the juices from the durian fruit have messed up my stainless steel knife in the past, and I have no doubts. it could do the same with this shovel. This will certainly work, but it may be better to get a plastic spatula if you work with durian a lot. This is a great looking and well working peeler with a nice added scooping feature. highlighted.
