Never buy this article! It is almost impossible to back up my Mac with this device. There's no front-end app or controls or a way to know how much storage space is left on the device. Just a continuous message that there was a RAID configuration error and running the WD utility to scan the disk to no avail. I downloaded new software many times but no change.
