Review on Upgraded L-Type Clear Plastic Folder Set: 30 Pack A4/Letter Size Document Holders, Copy Safe And Transparent In Color For Organized Projects And Filing by Ashwin Patel

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cut job is awful; feels like it’ll rough up my fingers.

These type of folders are pretty popular in Japan and you can get them pretty cheaply there, but they’re made with A4 sized paper (not letter size paper) in mind. The A4-sized folders do fit letter-sized paper, but the paper ends up right at the edge of the folder and doesn’t feel very secure. On that point, these folders are nice in that they fit letter-size paper with more leeway on the edge (even if you’ve got a 16-paged stack in there, which would really be at the edge of an A4 folder). The thing is though, these are cut so poorly that I feel like I’m going to hurt my fingers handling the edge of them because of the rough cuts. It’s like it took a couple of passes to cut these, or they’re reselling the ones that didn’t pass quality control at the factory. They’re a little thinner than the A4 ones I’m used to seeing in Asia (even the cheapest bargain store fare) and get crease marks a bit easily. They don’t feel that nice.I was going to maybe decorate these and give them away to people I know, but I don’t think they’re good enough enough for that. They’re certainly fine if you don’t really care too much otherwise. I’m a bit disappointed in the overall quality of them. But they are cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • The folders are very helpful in organizing paper work
Cons
  • Size is not perfect for standard A4 paper. A little bit smaller than it should be.
