Review on πŸŽ’ Pacsafe's Unisex Citysafe Anti-Theft Backpack: Top Choice for Casual Daypacks by Chris Hossain

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Durable and reliable travel backpack that offers plenty of space. Don't be put off by the long straps.

After looking at various options online I decided on this backpack for a recent trip to Europe. I was looking for a backpack so as not to strain my neck from a large bag or bag. Wanted something safe on public transport and tourist areas. I also valued comfort (it's soft) and spaciousness (this bag fits a foldable raincoat, a foldable Patagonia down jacket, a sweater, a scarf, a water bottle, an umbrella and various small items). At first I was put off by the reviews that the straps were too long for petite women (which can straighten the back and make it easier to undress) but decided to give it a try as it seemed to meet all my other needs. I'm glad I did. With a few simple tweaks, I was able to customize the straps to my liking. I used a black pipe cleaner (from a craft store, Halloween leftovers) and small zip ties (with velcro to tie cords and wires together). I pulled the straps as tight as I could, then folded the end over the adjustable clasp. I then tied it with a tube brush (dark color ribbons can also be used) and then tied it again with a cable/velcro strap. [See photos.] It was a successful hack. It didn't come off at all and didn't look like I was going to make any adjustments. The security features are simple and effective once you get used to them. They require two hands to open and close, so they're not easy to reach when you're on the go. However, this is what makes the backpack so safe. And last but not least, the backpack looks great. The matte black material is understated (and water-repellent, stain-cleaning) and stylish. The brushed gold hardware is also discreet and bespoke. Besides using it when traveling I will also use it at concerts, festivals etc where I need extra security in crowds. I am considering buying the small version but it seems more expensive than this version. ?
