The perfect replacement for the HID Prius requiring only minor work!

Update July 2021, these bulbs STILL work! Almost 3 years old now. No problem. Now the mileage is more than 35,000 km. This is one of the most impressive products I have ever bought. Update: July 2020, I've had these lamps for 20 months now. They still work great. I drove the car about 20,000 miles in temperatures ranging from -10 to 110 Fahrenheit. These bulbs just keep working. No flicker, no dimming, no problem at all. First review: They work fantastically as a replacement for the dumbest idea in Toyota history. Prius HIDs. The trick to using it is that I've been able to confirm that the Prius supplies 12v to the headlight ecu *and* only does it when the headlights are on AND doesn't get any information. In other words, the car has no idea if the headlights or the computer are working, so you can just steal the computers' power to turn on the headlights. This is made even easier by simply removing the computer connector inside the dust cover, exposing 2 blade terminals. and swap the spade connectors on the extension that comes with these lights for female connectors. This is an easy process for someone who can do basic 12v wiring. I recommend getting some heat shrink tubing to remove/replace the cable sleeve so you can use some extra cable. There is a lot of length, several times more than necessary. Now connect the new connectors to the computer dust cover, plug all the wires into the assembly and screw the cover back on. They didn't even film any of the original parts. You could return to HID instantly if for some unknown, incomprehensible reason you ever wanted to. Since everything else on Prius headlights is controlled outside of the HID assembly, everything still works. namely high beam and autoleveling. These lights are MUCH brighter than my HIDs and much whiter. Even in broad daylight it's pretty obvious just looking at them with one of them. My only minor complaint is that the magnet for the high and low beam levers is located just below the bulb on the Prius and those headlights are wired. comes straight from the bottom so it's a little tight. While this isn't really an issue, the only thing I would wish for was more ground clearance. So, here is a brighter and whiter headlight. It costs less than 1/2 as much PER PAIR as the Original Equipment Toyota HID Headlights EACH!
