I liked the look of the lights and all the different modes, I bought 3 packs to hang outside our house for Christmas. I looked at the FAQ to see how long the bulbs would last and they said they would last a season. One lamp requires 4 AA batteries, 4 lamps per pack, so I used 48 batteries for 12 lamps. I put them on a timer that only turns on 6 hours a day. The lights went on and off at different times, which didn't really matter. But after only 1 1/2 weeks the lights gradually went out. I am very disappointed with the battery life. Not worth replacing the batteries with the holiday season still a month away. Luckily I can return them.
