Before purchasing this towel set, I used Superior brand Egyptian cotton towels. So my review below is mainly a comparison with this towel set. Well, I found these towels incredibly soft. After a few washes they still feel plush and have even softened a bit over time. If you like the really soft feel of a towel you will love this. They also dry quickly. I use them in the morning and in the evening they are dry. I didn't find these towels thin. I prefer a thick towel. For this reason, the towel does not absorb well. Or at least it takes longer to fully dry. And the towel seems soaked through after drying myself out of the shower. But, to my previous comment, the towel dries quickly. I think that's the benefit of a thinner towel. Overall I like these towels because they are so soft. The plush feel makes up for the thinness. The price was great too. So I can change them more often and feel like I'm wasting my money. If you like fluffy towels, you'll love these. If you like thick towels, keep looking.
