The battery is defective
Delivered on 07/31 but it did not work out on 09/19 for a photo session. The camera reads the absence of a battery. Both compartments contain fully charged Nikon batteries. I cleaned the connections, nothing. This was a big disappointment and I'm just outside the return window.

Works fine on our Nikon at a lower cost than the name brand version. Extends battery life well.
