They sound almost as good as the full-size WH-1000MX4 I own and don't heat up my ears. I hear myself running (running) more with these headphones than with wireless headphones. This can be a feature of headphones in general. They appear to be aimed at the Japanese market as the instructions and voice guidance are in Japanese, but you can change the voice guidance to English using the Sony Headphones Connect app. I was concerned about the warranty but in a chat with Revain they claim that since it was sold through Revain Sony will honor the warranty. The earbuds fit my ears quite well and they are comfortable, or at least as comfortable as putting something in your ear. I wouldn't recommend it for runners though as I think constant impact can cause them to fall out.
