Replaced two old cigarette lighter sockets in a 2002 Ford Windstar van that we use for camping. Being able to charge multiple electronics at the same time is great, plus the added bonus of being able to see the remaining battery charge - we previously encountered a dead battery and had to start the engine from a nearby campervan - now we can see the battery . Status and start the car to charge the battery when needed. The on/off switch is convenient to turn off the LED display at night.
