Review on 🪑 Black Modway EEI-1595-BLK Lippa Mid-Century Modern Faux Leather Cushion Dining Armchair by Robert Ewing

I bought a set with a matching table (36") and four chairs (white), I've had it for over a month and I'm ready to write my review This set is modern elegant and very aesthetic to the eye definitely 5-10 stars for the design I have had many compliments from all my guests on how beautiful they look so artistic and definitely a talking point but this is one these things that are nice to look at but you really don't want to use them as those towels in the guest bathroom that you would take out before the guests arrive, oh yes I would advise your family NOT to use them they are just for looks. So here's the kicker: the chair isn't suitable for medium to heavy builders, the seat is on the narrower side, and this chair has a lower backrest, so if you e have a long torso, part of it your back won't feel it well supported yourself second second you should sit on the "middle" of the chair as it swivels a bit but be careful as the weakest link is just below your seat is. How the chair is assembled: The chair itself is "clamped" between a 6" round metal plate at the top and bolted to the base (tulip leg) at the bottom with 6 screws. All movement and the integrity of the chair depends on this 6" Space depends on where and how you sit, so imagine if you're off center or swaying too much the screws will loosen, overall it feels brittle like it's going to snap or probably loosen the screws holding everything together . Believe me, sometimes I almost yelled at my guests, "PLEASE just sit still, don't move or sway that much in any direction", and of course I didn't do that. Ouch! One last thing, the chair is easily scratched : -((Overall for the price I paid for the entire set plus tax it wasn't far from $1000 definitely not worth it in terms of comfort and stability but hey As part of the conversation and the Overall picture might be worth it, so it's up to you to decide.
