Exactly, at least as far as I can tell, water testing at pH 7 as it should be. Lemon juice was tested at Level 4, which is a low score, but every lemon will be different. My only complaint is that the alkaline colors don't match the colors printed on the inside of the cover. For example, if you're testing a cleaning product, the main part of the stripe is like 10, but the darkest part of the stripe is close to 11, so what's that? But I remember the strips we used in college had the same problem, so I won't judge those. You will receive 2 litmus strip booklets in a small ziplock plastic bag, probably a lifetime supply for me. I use them to test the pH of various household cleaners that help me make homemade cleaning solutions and I've found most of them to be alkaline, even lemon degreaser. Of course you will then test anything and everything, from saliva, coffee, juice, milk, etc. Here are some of my findings: Acids • Bartender's Friend, 2 • Citric Acid + Water, 1TB per cup, 2 • Boom , 3 • Star San , 5Neutral• Pine SolAlkaline• HDX Citrus Degreaser, 10 (Generic Zep)• Mr Clean, 10• Scrub Bubbles, 10-11• Windex, 11• Oxyclean, 12Hot Sauce, 4Lemon Juice, 4
