Bought for video shooting. I am very pleased with this mode. Video shoots well, autofocus is fast and tenacious. And when I began to use it precisely as a camera, I noticed that I began to get a lot of marriage. You focus on a person, and in the picture the background in the background turns out to be sharp, and the subject is slightly “soapy”. I began to test it with different lenses. It turned out that when used with all my lenses (I have three Canon lenses and three Tamron lenses), strong back focus appears. With a native lens, it also exists, but it manifests itself to a lesser extent, due to the fact that the lens is not fast, and you cannot open an aperture wider than 5.6. The usual situation is when for 5 or 6 defective shots one is obtained normally. Unfortunately, 14 days from the date of purchase have long passed and it will not be possible to change. The local service recognized the problem and sent the camera to the Hong Kong service, but not for adjustment (as I asked), but for repairs. But from Hong Kong, despite the fact that Canon's telephone technical support promised adjustment, the camera returned with a formal reply. I quote: "As a result of the diagnostics and external inspection, no malfunctions were found and the equipment recognized as fully operational and meeting all the declared parameters of the manufacturer. Testing was carried out using CANON tables and master lenses." Well, maybe with a certain reference lens it works fine. But I need it to work well with MY lenses. Which, by the way, works great with three of my other cameras. Summing up, I want to say: when buying, immediately check the work with all your lenses and, if something confuses you, immediately change to another copy. Or consider buying a more expensive model that has software-adjusted autofocus for different lenses.
