Type of review

I have been wanting a fotik for a long time, I am very glad that I finally managed to get it. I took a picture of a dance tournament (it was about 3 hours of continuous work), I got quite a lot of cool pictures, since the camera is light, the hand was almost not tired, the battery was enough, by the time the 64GB memory card was over, there were still 2 divisions of the battery left. Filmed using the screen, not through the viewfinder. The complete kit lens smears minimally, including no…

Pros
  • I like him in general
Cons
  • With continuous work for an hour or two, it heats up and starts to slow down, and since I am a beginner, apart from this, I have not singled out anything else for myself yet

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

The camera is good, especially if this is the first DSLR. Long battery life if you do not shoot video and use the viewfinder. There is wifi, so you can use your phone as a remote control.

Pros
  • You can take a lot of shots on one battery, especially if you don’t use the display, the maximum was 900 photos and there was still half the battery left
Cons
  • Lever for turning on and switching to video, periodically accidentally turns on when the device is put into a bag

My first SLR camera, in a travel package (bag and 16 gig flash drive included). The camera is comfortable and easy to understand, for beginners, that's it. I need a video queue again, it does a great job, but 4k without their legendary Dual pixel autofocus, so it's better to shoot in FullHD. The swivel touch screen is also convenient. From photographs, shoots both in Raw and in jpeg. There is a special C-Raw with smaller sizes, but without loss of quality. For beginners, there are various…

Pros
  • Compactness among DSLRs, convenient interface, the ability to shoot remotely from a computer or smartphone, good auto focus.
Cons
  • No Dual pixel autofocus in 4K video mode The battery life is not too high, I had a chance to take pictures at two events in a day, plus transferring files via Wi fi, the battery was completely discharged.

Nice price, good quality.

The camera was presented as the first trial camera for training, I didn’t choose it myself, I didn’t read the reviews - maybe I would have chosen another one . I just read a few articles on how to choose the first camera, everyone said unanimously that the first camera should not be taken expensive, that they are about the same in the same price range, so I completely relied on my husband's choice. And she was completely satisfied with her until she went to study for courses and we didn’t get…

Pros
  • Lightweight, touch screen - the ability to quickly access settings, the ability to send photos to your phone or laptop without a cord via Wi-Fi, the ability to use your phone as a remote control, etc.
Cons
  • The shoe is not like everyone else's - the inability to use conventional studio equipment (synchronizers), apparently only the expensive Canon, which, judging by the reviews, no one has.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

I like everything about the cool camera, If there is not enough clarity in the photo, then you probably shoot in JPG, It's better to shoot in CR3, the difference in details and clarity is huge, exactly at 100% viewing size. I have attached a screenshot of the difference. On the right is the original, quite dark, on the left is a brightened CR3, in the center is a brightened JPG. I thought I wouldn’t get clear photos with my hands, but I decided to try in CR3 and everything is super))

Pros
  • Shooting in FullHD
Cons
  • When shooting in JPG, there is a big difference not only in color depth but also in detail with CR3

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I really liked the product. Excellent quality. The product fully corresponds to the description. The camera is comfortable, the image is perfectly stabilized, and the image itself is of high quality. I am delighted! I will order more.

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

A camera for consumers, not photographers. Canon got so drunk that now even DSLRs for 44tr began to be considered cameras for ers, which only shoot in AUTO mode. This is what a you have to be to remove and not to say about the absence of a central sync contact! Because of this, it’s not only impossible to use flashes released a couple of years ago, but in general all impulse studio photographic equipment. I have 4 pulse monoblocks, they are synchronized by a universal synchronizer. But here's…

Pros
  • The picture is more or less good, but no better than 200D
Cons
  • Unreasonably expensive Incorrect camera positioning, Lack of CENTRAL SYNCHROCONTACT!

I like everything, the quality is good and the price is reasonable.

This is the first camera for us, we did not expect much from it. The task is to learn how to use photographic equipment to further develop skills. In general, the device is good.

Pros
  • -Comparatively good photo quality for a small price; - Easy to use;
Cons
  • Bought for 42,000. For this price, it's hard to talk about the shortcomings. Let's see how it will be in use further.

I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

Bought for video shooting. I am very pleased with this mode. Video shoots well, autofocus is fast and tenacious. And when I began to use it precisely as a camera, I noticed that I began to get a lot of marriage. You focus on a person, and in the picture the background in the background turns out to be sharp, and the subject is slightly “soapy”. I began to test it with different lenses. It turned out that when used with all my lenses (I have three Canon lenses and three Tamron lenses), strong…

Pros
  • Shoots video very well. High-quality matrix (when shooting through the viewfinder, you can raise the ISO to 1600 without fear of noise) The native lens focuses very quickly and silently.
Cons
  • Strong back focus when shooting through the viewfinder. When using LiveView, the matrix starts to make a lot of noise on dark objects at ISO 200

It is impossible to use, a bad product.

I compared this model with my old EOS Kiss X50 camera (analogue of the Canon 1100D), and so the new one shoots WORSE. It has better color reproduction, the working ISO can be lifted up to 1600 without noticeable consequences, there are more megapixels. But the picture is frankly soapy, there is no "ringing" sharpness. I had a strong feeling that the matrix here is worth a lower resolution, and the picture is obtained by interpolation, although it may just be a bad Baer filter. But the reason…

Pros
  • Tenacious and fast autofocus in video mode. Silent kit lens.
Cons
  • Poor performance of phase autofocus in conjunction with "old" lenses (not the STM series). Soapy picture - does not justify its 24 mp. Using the screen quickly drains the battery.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The product is faulty in some way, I definitely won't buy it again.

The main thing you need to know when buying this model is that none of the non-native flashes will work with it, and there may be compatibility problems with non-native lenses (I personally have with Sigma). But if you can somehow work with lenses, then in terms of flashes, Canon has changed the physical interface - removed the central contact on the hot shoe, and even non-automatic universal flashes do not work. And I still have an excellent Yongnuo and an old but working Sigma from the…

Pros
  • Good functionality, good image quality. The standard lens (STM 4-5.6 IS) turned out to be surprisingly good. Yes, it is slightly darker than previous versions, but it is remarkably sharp and focuses quickly.
Cons
  • It seemed less convenient to control (I compare it with 450D), plastic is cheaper to the touch. When shooting a video, a defect appeared - a white spot on the image. Fixed under warranty. But the main thing - Canon embarked on a vicious path of struggle with manufacturers of compatible equipment. More details - in the comments

I definitely do not advise buying, the product disappointed.

The native lens, like all "whales", is rather dark and is only suitable for shooting video. When working with non-native lenses, phase autofocus very often makes a big mistake, for 5 - 6 defective shots, there is 1 normal one. Tested with Canon EF-S 55-250 1:4-5.6 IS II, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 (IF) A16 lenses. I have very big doubts about the resolution of the matrix. Canon claims 24.1 megapixels, I compared it in action with my old Canon EOS 1100D (18 megapixels). So, the…

Pros
  • Very good video recording. In video mode, very tenacious and fast autofocus. Silent operation of the native lens (it is inaudible how it focuses). ISO working up to 1600 (when shooting through the viewfinder)
Cons
  • When shooting movies or taking pictures in LiveView mode, dark objects in the image begin to "noise" even at low ISO values. Very unstable autofocus when aiming at the center point, often misses. What is interesting is more often focused behind the subject, front-focus also happens, but much less often.

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I was looking for an inexpensive Canon that shoots 4K. It shoots 4K well, it only takes a little long to focus. Not suitable for children who move quickly. But when shooting at 1080p, the focus works very quickly. The photo shoots well. You can shoot in almost complete darkness. When transferring files to a computer, you can transfer everything via WiFi. The only thing is that it takes a long time, tk. the files are very large. Tried to connect different microphones. The microphone from Sony is

Pros
  • Shoots 4K.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

In general, the best camera in the middle price segment (at the beginning of 2022). For tourists and amateurs, auto mode and an optical viewfinder are suitable - walk and click all day, the camera almost always takes pictures as it should. For more prof. use - live view and many settings. I liked the whale lens - fast, silent, clear, optical stabilization, but too small aperture and weak bokeh, though if you know how to use lightroom and photoshop, then these shortcomings are actually…

Pros
  • - Good photo quality (working ISO 1600) - Good video quality (clear, loud sound, 1080p 60 fps, 4K available) - Compact for a DSLR - Swivel screen and phone control - Kit lens is of good quality - Many settings and modes
Cons
  • - Rather controversial "default" settings, in which you need to rummage and customize for yourself, as well as enable useful features such as focus area illumination. - 4K crop and no dual pixel

Great entry-level DSLR!

I love this camera. I wanted to start with something entry level but high quality. It was the perfect camera. I've read some reviews about it elsewhere and I'm glad I made the choice. The picture quality is fantastic and I love the Bluetooth/WiFi functionality. I hope I have this camera for a long time!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great camera but crop factor is hard

Great camera, takes nice photos, whale lens is surprisingly good. It's a small DSLR and my wife tells me it's very handy if you have small hands. It's lightweight but doesn't feel cheap at all. If you don't know what crop factor is or how to compensate for it, please google it before making a purchasing decision.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Amazing Value for Camera & Photo

This is a great camera in every way. Ideal for beginner photographers and vloggers. There is a mode that explains and teaches you how to operate the camera. This camera didn't come with an Image Stabilization lens (and this is the second lens I've bought). This may be because it is the international version and not the US version. However, I like it very much. The lens is included and works perfectly. This kit of lens filters is good. I am using them for the first time. Ideal for Youtubers

  • Acceptable

Great DSLR for beginner photographers.

This is my first DSLR and I am very happy with my purchase. This is exactly the same camera as the Rebel but an international model. I was able to save $70 by purchasing the international model. There is absolutely no difference between them except the name. It comes with 55mm which is essential for beginners. My next lens will be a 250mm lens. My favorite features are 4K recording and the flip-up touch display. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi transmission. Sometimes the network gets…

The camera looked used and I was missing most of the kit (including lens)

My recommendation is to stay away from this SELLER! I received this item with many items missing which have prevented the camera from working. . The described lens, SD card, battery and one of the filters are missing. The SD card reader does not look like the picture at all. Of course that can happen, but what really impressed me was that I looked at the camera myself and contacted the seller. The camera looked used rather than brand new, the manual looked like a used book you can buy from…
