Review on Canon Rebel Camera 18 55Mm 4 5 6 by Sakata Iori ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It is impossible to use, a bad product.

I compared this model with my old EOS Kiss X50 camera (analogue of the Canon 1100D), and so the new one shoots WORSE. It has better color reproduction, the working ISO can be lifted up to 1600 without noticeable consequences, there are more megapixels. But the picture is frankly soapy, there is no "ringing" sharpness. I had a strong feeling that the matrix here is worth a lower resolution, and the picture is obtained by interpolation, although it may just be a bad Baer filter. But the reason really doesn't matter. It is important that he photographs worse than the old model of 2022. The video shoots much better, and the pictures are worse. I was disappointed with the work of phase autofocus with my old lenses - there are a lot of misses (they work with a bang on the EOS Kiss X50), and there are more flights for the object than undershoots. I suffered for several months and bought myself an EOS 77D - everything is in order with sharpness in it at first glance.

Pros
  • Tenacious and fast autofocus in video mode. Silent kit lens.
Cons
  • Poor performance of phase autofocus in conjunction with "old" lenses (not the STM series). Soapy picture - does not justify its 24 mp. Using the screen quickly drains the battery.

I don’t understand them well, but based on the opinion of my colleagues, the rating is 4 with a big plus.

Got pros: Lightweight and compact camera. Cons: If it is difficult to replace the battery and card on a tripod. Expensive, however.
