The flexible section is made from cheap plastic interlocking hemispheres. It's nothing more than minimal friction that holds them together. No inner cable or outer sheath. They are too loose to hold their position even with slight movements. I installed this on my ocean canoe. On a fairly steady day, it continued to drop. That made him useless. Heck, the sections just separated and my GoPro is at the bottom of the ocean. I bought this because other guys use a similar flexible clip. When they saw my breakdown they told me I had a cheap model. I thanked them for warning me in advance! I suggest you have a moving platform like a bike, canoe, etc. You can buy a decent one instead. Don't try to save a few bucks by purchasing this item. It's terrible. This is a parody. This is an example of badly designed shit that symbolizes the decline of craft and society. The general dollar would be an appropriate sales channel for this item as expectations would be more in line with the performance of this product.
