Uncomfortable in headphones

I've had these headphones for 3 months now. These headphones sound great and offer noise cancellation, but are more suited to children. I managed to stretch it so it wasn't so tight, but the earpiece is too small. They start to ache in the ears and after a while they feel like they are burning.
