Before using this loofah for the first time, I soaked it in water as recommended and it was softer than when it arrived. It was still a little rough, but that was to be expected. Part of the fabric was not Egyptian cotton as advertised. I used one of the loofahs all over my body, twice a day for only a couple of weeks before it started showing signs of wear. and tear revealing a worn interior and torn interior upholstery. A few more times after the first signs of use appeared this resulted in attached images. I was expecting this product to be used a lot more so this disappointed me.
