This is my favorite mix. My french bulldog loves it, he is alive and well. I have fed them my whole life and love this brand. However, I was disappointed when they started making some blends in the US instead of Canada. The tundra is still made in Canada and has a wide variety. Here are some tips. I used to take 13 pound bags and noticed that towards the end of the bag after about a month she started turning away from the food when she smelled it. I just thought she wanted something different and didn't think about it. Although I would notice a not so fresh smell. It wasn't until she suddenly became ill with a gastrointestinal tract for a week that I began investigating what might have caused her. I've come to the conclusion that dry dog food goes rancid. From all my research and experience I am a firm believer that if I buy too much of a pack it will go rancid. my advice is in any case: buy the smallest sensible pack to get rancid. My dog no longer turns away from the food and is no longer sick.
